About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects, from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise construction site activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
  • Manage site reporting, including documentation and communication with stakeholders.
  • Analyze and manage authorization documentation, including building permits and safety certifications.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely completion and cost-effectiveness.
  • Support testing phases and collaborate with technical staff to resolve issues.
  • Maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Review project tables and support the activities of the Design and Construction Office.
Requirements
  • Degree in a technical field, such as engineering or architecture.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software, such as Autocad, and bills of quantities.
  • Experience in construction site management, preferably in a research institute setting.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
