About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated researcher to join our team at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) in the field of Computer Vision and Machine Learning for Cultural Heritage. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team working on the development of cutting-edge technologies for the digital recording and preservation of cultural heritage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced computer vision and machine learning algorithms for 3D reconstruction and scene understanding.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement new technologies for the digital recording and preservation of cultural heritage.
  • Conduct research and development in the field of computer vision and machine learning, with a focus on applications in cultural heritage.
  • Publish research results in top-tier conferences and journals.
  • Participate in the development of new research projects and proposals.
Requirements
  • PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong background in computer vision and machine learning.
  • Experience with 3D reconstruction and scene understanding.
  • Excellent programming skills in Python and C++.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
