About the Team

You will be part of a multicultural and multi-disciplinary team, working alongside computational scientists, material engineers, chemists, physicists, and heritage experts. Our team is focused on developing AI and computer vision methods for heritage conservation and restoration.

Job Responsibilities

As a Machine Learning/Computer Vision Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing AI algorithms for historical glass object analysis and change detection
  • Designing and implementing object detection and semantic segmentation methods for automatic detection of cracking development on glass objects
  • Collaborating with researchers on EU-funded projects, such as GoGreen, to promote preventive and remedial conservation practices based on green principles
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field with expertise in Computer Vision and Machine Learning
  • Documented experience in developing CV and/or ML methods for change or anomaly detection in time series imagery
  • Proficiency in English language (written and oral)
Additional Skills

It would be beneficial to have experience in:

  • Deep Learning algorithms and relevant platforms (PyTorch or TensorFlow)
  • Unsupervised and semi-supervised anomaly detection
  • Handling and manipulating microscopy/medical imagery
  • Suitable publication record on established CV, ML conferences/journals
