Job OverviewWe're seeking a skilled Product Validation Engineer with expertise in embedded electronics to join our Integrated System Product Development team.
As a Product Validation Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of our AI-integrated systems through comprehensive testing and validation processes.
Responsibilities:- Design and execute validation test plans for embedded hardware solutions, including microprocessors and power supply architecture.
- Conduct functional testing, performance testing, and reliability testing to ensure hardware components meet design specifications.
- Utilize testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers for comprehensive hardware validation.
- Develop and execute software test plans and test cases for embedded systems, focusing on AI applications, firmware, and device drivers.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to verify software functionality, performance, and interoperability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot issues, providing detailed feedback for improvement.
- Perform root cause analysis and provide technical recommendations and solutions for product enhancements.
- Continuously refine and optimize validation processes by integrating new tools, frameworks, or technologies to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in testing and validation of embedded electronics.
- Experience with hardware testing methodologies, including functional testing, performance testing, and reliability testing.
- Proficiency in using testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
- Strong knowledge of high-level testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and system testing, with a focus on software.
- Experience with scripting languages and test automation frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
