About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Designer to join our team at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for planning and managing the maintenance and upkeep of our offices and buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage maintenance activities for our facilities, including ordinary and extraordinary maintenance
  • Manage job orders and act as construction manager
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to achieve project goals
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Enrollment in the Order of Engineers or College of Experts with authorization to sign projects
  • Experience in electrical, special, air conditioning, thermal, hydraulic, suction, vacuum, gas, and compressed air systems
  • Knowledge of management practices related to plants and authorization procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge and practice of BIM
  • Experience in fire prevention and safety coordination
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a challenging and international environment
