Job Description

Datasensing is a high-tech company that values collaboration, respect, and open communication as key factors for success.

As a Territory Account Manager in Italy, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and young environment where leaders support your growth and listen to your ideas.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage sales of Machine Vision, Sensors & Safety Product Groups, reporting directly to the Italian Sales Manager.

You will travel frequently to build long-term relationships with current partners, Datalogic/Datasensing, and end-users to achieve sales targets and win new projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Successful management of the existing customer base and acquisition of new customers;
  • Achieving sales targets for the defined sales territory;
  • Managing Contracts & Benefit Packages;
  • Managing the account plan, performing visits, managing Price Exceptions, managing Sales Forecast, sales monitoring, and KPIs;
  • Identifying needs for Special Product Requests (SPRs) and engaging the Datasensing Technical Community;
  • Participating in the development of sales strategies;
  • Preparing and presenting presentations at customer premises;

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of work experience with Sensors, Vision System, Safety products, or in the Industrial Automation field;
  • Able in sales for sensors and safety, preferably with experience from competitors;
  • Negotiation and communication skills;
  • Good presentation, verbal, and written communication skills;
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player, self-motivated, and self-directed;
  • Coordination and collaboration with the team and project management skills;
  • Fluency in speaking and writing in Italian and English;
