Job Summary

RINA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Corrosion Technician to join its team in Rome, Italy. As a key member of the Materials & Technologies Division, you will be responsible for conducting electrochemical and corrosion tests on laboratory-scale samples or parts of components in their actual sizes.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform compliance tests to European and international standards based on the component under test, defining the test layout and test procedure.
  2. Develop and implement new methodologies and procedures following the needs of Clients or as emerging from the literature and scientific references.
  3. Collaborate with other team members in carrying out work and solving any problems.
  4. Execute post-test analysis in accordance with regulations or customer requests.
  5. Process post-test data.
  6. Utilize CAD software to support laboratory work.
  7. Participate in long-term business trips as required.
  8. Meet physical fitness requirements for laboratory work.

Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry is required. The ideal candidate will possess strong decision-making skills, the ability to address complex situations, and excellent communication skills.
