Job Title: Trade Finance Operations Manager

Intesa Sanpaolo Group is seeking a highly skilled Trade Finance Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for processing trade finance products, including trade finance and payments, loans, and treasury back office transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process trade finance products, including trade finance and payments, loans, and treasury back office transactions.
  • Reconcile loan accounts, monitor loans, and process associated loan fees.
  • Examine documents and claims presented under letters of credit and other trade finance instruments to determine compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Prepare trade finance documents, including advice letters, amendments, and bank acceptance documents.
  • Monitor and follow up on non-performing loans, and prepare aging reports.
  • Ensure controls on IFRS-9 calculations.
  • Report overdue credit lines in the banking system.
  • Track and control loans documentation, follow up on missing documents/collaterals, and ensure all documents have been received.
  • Store operational loan files.
  • Track and control the receipt and payment of principal and interest, and payment of loan fees.
  • Perform Risk Center periodic reporting, including KRM and KLKR.
  • Control and approve treasury back office deals, and CBT's required reserve and maximum interest rates.
  • Manage payments process in line with customer instructions, and ensure required communication with sales teams and clients.
  • Check required documentation for factoring transactions, and ensure its flow properly in the core banking system.
  • Reply to periodic and/or ad hoc requests of regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in Trade Finance and Payments and Loan Operations activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, or related subject (a professional qualification like CDCS or other relevant qualification is an added advantage).
  • Knowledge of BRSA and CBT guidelines and relevant local legislations, as well as ICC rules.
  • Good knowledge of SWIFT/EFT messages.
  • Open to work in a multi-task environment.
  • Experience in monitoring loan portfolio and reporting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Good understanding of bank's operational systems and MS Office.
