Green Recruitment Company is seeking an experienced Vice President of Project Development - Energy Storage to lead our project development efforts in the energy storage sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing project development from start to ready to build, focusing on Build-Own-Operate (BOO) projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Project Development: Manage project development from start to ready to build, focusing on BOO projects, including permitting, grid interconnection, and site control.
  • Process Standardization: Ensure consistent BOO procedures across regions and projects, empowering local teams to manage tasks independently.
  • Project Coordination: Work with sales and business development to qualify, evaluate, and de-risk projects as they progress.
  • Third-Party Developer Management: Build long-term relationships with third-party developers and develop Joint Development Agreements with regional business developers.
  • Project Manager Supervision: Directly manage Project Development Managers in key areas.
  • Budget and Risk Management: Define and manage development budgets, assess risks, and ensure internal approval for investments.

**Requirements**

  • Extensive Experience: At least 10 years of experience in project development, taking renewable and power generation projects from concept to ready to build.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading projects to financial close.
  • Technical Expertise: Engineering degree or substantial experience in a technical project development environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the energy storage sector, including renewable energy sources and conventional power generation.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to manage budgets, handle schedule trade-offs, and negotiate contracts.
