We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Development to lead our renewable energy projects from conception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical, environmental, and decision-making aspects of our projects, ensuring alignment with our organization's mission and objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Develop and implement project management strategies to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Team Coordination: Lead a multidisciplinary team to achieve the "ready to build" (RtB) status for projects.
  • Risk Management: Identify, plan, and manage project risks associated with renewable energy projects, implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Technical and Environmental Criteria: Establish and enforce technical and environmental criteria for projects in coordination with company headquarters.
  • Project Strategy: Develop and execute tailored strategies for each project to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Project Development Control: Monitor project development timelines and ensure timely delivery.
  • Project Handover: Facilitate the transition of projects in the RtB phase to the Construction team.
  • Construction Support: Provide support and guidance during the construction phase of projects.
  • Opportunity Analysis: Evaluate new projects and opportunities, including legal and technical due diligence.
  • Agreement Evaluation: Assess and manage agreements made during the development phase with promoters, third parties, and clients.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with administration, business partners, customers, landowners, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Economic and Technical Profitability: Ensure projects meet profitability targets.
  • Protocols and Management Models: Develop and implement protocols to ensure smooth information flow and operational efficiency within the department.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and analyze department, portfolio, and project costs.
  • Company Representation: Represent the company to administration, media, and other relevant parties.
  • Operational Support: Assist in closing operations related to projects, including agreements and financing searches.
  • Team Formation: Build a team dedicated to originating in-house projects and exploring new technologies.
  • Reporting to Management: Provide direct reports to management and prepare analyses to support high-level decision-making.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues, proposing solutions to enhance company efficiency.
  • Growth Opportunities: Identify and develop plans for growth and expansion, collaborating with other departments.
  • Resource Coordination: Facilitate inter-departmental coordination for resource allocation within the company.Requirements
    • Educational Level: Degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
    • Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar role.
    Competencies and Skills
    • Languages: Italian; proficient in English, French is a plus.
    • Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of project development, environmental compliance, and risk management.
    • Leadership: Strong ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate complex projects.
    • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
