About the Role

The Head of Quality and Excellence for HITACHI ENERGY ITALY S.P.A. will be responsible for owning and defining the quality strategy and framework, implementing quality as part of the daily activities and processes in close collaboration with the teams. This includes executing, monitoring, and reporting quality measures as part of the KPI framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Strategy and Framework: Define and implement the quality strategy and framework, ensuring quality is integrated into daily activities and processes.
  • Development Portfolio: Manage the development portfolio, consolidating team-specific improvement activities into cross-functional initiatives. Define and implement relevant project methodologies to support teams in project management.
  • Cross-Functional Projects: Own cross-functional projects involving multiple teams, engaging and assigning responsibility to teams and leaders. Manage relationships with project consultants and vendors, keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Competence and People Development: Define a common competence portfolio across teams, aligned with preferred competencies. Define future competence requirements and a roadmap to achieve them.
  • Communication Strategy: Own and define the communication strategy and framework in collaboration with Hitachi Energy and Finance Communications.

Requirements

  • Education: Master's degree or equivalent in business administration, economics, or engineering.
  • Language: Excellent written and spoken English, strong presentation skills.
  • Collaboration and Change Management: Strong collaboration and change management competences, open to different views and opinions.
  • Quality Development and Portfolio Management: Knows how to implement and apply quality development, portfolio management, and project management in different environments and teams.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead teams and work under high pressure in challenging environments.

Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in quality management, development programs, portfolio, and/or project management. Experience in people development and communication development/change management communication appreciated.
