About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Air Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team at Kuehne+Nagel. As a key member of our Operations pillar, you will play a crucial role in delivering operational excellence and optimizing the cost of production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Care Center
    • Support the Operational excellence of the Operational Care Center through high-quality shipment and process management.
    • Execute with the highest level of quality export/import services, dialoguing with suppliers, handling agents, and carriers.
  • Process Improvement
    • Help to optimize proceedings to ensure development of Air Logistics operational Key Performance Indicators.
    • Cooperate with other internal stakeholders.
    • Ensure close cooperation with Customer Care Location, Systems and Process, Revenue Care, Warehouse and National Managers for optimized operations and gain specialized customer specific knowledge.
    • Be part of Dangerous Goods support with certified knowledge as per IATA/ICAO regulations within the Operational Care Center.
Requirements
  • Fluent in Italian and Intermediate in English.
  • Dangerous Goods Certification is advantageous.
  • Previous experience (1-2 years) in the logistics sector for similar roles.
