**Job Summary**

This is a temporary Retail Sales Associate position with a set end date of March 14, 2025. As a Merchandise Pick-Up/Seasonal associate, you will play a crucial role in carrying out the merchandising vision for our store. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in assembling and placing product to attract guest attention
  • Providing excellent customer service by greeting, assisting, and thanking guests
  • Lifting and moving furniture and large merchandise using proper lifting techniques
  • Maintaining the physical appearance of the sales floor
  • Helping unload merchandise transfer trucks and process items as needed

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a retail sales environment, preferably with Point of Sale functions
  • Knowledge of merchandise and presentation techniques
  • An understanding of the elements that drive retail operations profitability
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to adapt to changing demands
