Position Overview

We are seeking a Demand Planner Intern to support our team in Pomezia, Italy. In this role, you will assist in defining production plans, generating work orders, and issuing purchase orders. You will work closely with Customer Service, Logistics & Warehouse, and Procurement to ensure timely product delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze monthly statistical forecasts and forecast errors to inform demand planning decisions.
  • Generate lots and issue work orders to freeze production plans.
  • Share results and analysis with various stakeholders, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations.
  • Work with other STERIS entities to issue internal requisitions based on monthly forecasts and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Develop monthly build plans for assigned manufacturing facilities and monthly requirements for purchased finished goods.
  • Support and perform KPI analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics or Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, particularly Excel.
  • Fluent English written and spoken.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical approach.
  • Self-motivated and organized, flexible, and willing to learn proactively.
  • Familiarity with Oracle (plus).
  • Effective communication skills.
