We are seeking a V.I.E - [Innovation Program Procurement Leader]

V.I.E. duration is set for 12 or 24 months.

What makes this role significant?

The VIE Innovation Procurement Leader will address the requirements of the New Business Factory (NBF) initiatives, focusing on supplier technologies, geographical considerations, and target costs. This role will also ensure that the commodity panel strategy aligns with acquisition needs. The VIE Innovation Procurement Leader will conduct strategic scouting for new components that are not yet part of the Group's supplier panel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the project team on RFI & RFQ processes for series and prototypes, ensuring alignment with objectives related to Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
  • Scout for suppliers offering innovative processes to establish a reliable supplier panel: identify partner suppliers for critical component development and create a strategic panel based on Group criteria and program needs.
  • Manage contractual agreements (NDA, development contracts, orders, etc.).
  • Negotiate and implement development agreements with suppliers as necessary.
  • Oversee performance during the NBF program phase: manage suppliers, compare costs against objectives, ensure quality throughout the program, adhere to delivery timelines, and ensure that program phase reviews are conducted according to the defined deliverables in the Innovation Program Management System (iPMS).
  • Facilitate the transition of the Innovation/NBF to the Division concerning procurement aspects.

What We Are Looking For

  • A Master's degree in engineering or business with a focus on international procurement.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with VBA/Macros.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Program Buyer in an industrial setting.
  • Strong communication skills, active listening abilities, and analytical thinking.
  • A dynamic and agile individual capable of navigating a matrixed organization.
  • An international mindset with the ability to adapt to diverse cultures and working environments; overseas experience is advantageous.
  • A curious nature with a willingness to learn pragmatically.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory, with a commitment to learning Italian.
