Achieve Revenue Growth as Director of Sales
Our stylish new opening hotel in Rome seeks a dynamic Director of Sales to drive revenue growth and lead a sales team. This exciting opportunity focuses on selling restaurant and event spaces, rather than rooms.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
  • Lead and mentor the sales team to ensure exceptional performance and customer service.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, and event planners.
  • Collaborate with marketing and revenue management teams to identify opportunities for business growth and market expansion.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges in the market.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the Rome hospitality market and established industry.
  • Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
