The Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Driver Operations team in Italy. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational healthiness of Welcome Pickups in Italy, monitoring key metrics, and proactively taking actions to optimize driver acquisition, destination setup, and community management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the highest number of transfers and the least number of cancellations.
- Monitor driver performance and quality of services through KPIs and community feedback.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the local driver labor market and legal landscape.
- Innovate and execute data-driven action plans for driver acquisition and retention.
- Optimize Welcome Destinations' setup and coordinate communication with driver communities.
- Work closely with the Head of Driver Operations to anticipate spikes in demand and implement plans to ensure sufficient driver supply.
- Collaborate with the Expansion and Commercial teams to bring region-specific insights for business development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Proven experience in operations, ideally in fleet management, ride sharing, last-mile logistics, and/or high-growth start-ups in Italy.
- Self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- High achiever with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian.
- Analytical mind and out-of-the-box thinker.
- Friendly and upbeat personality.
- Digital native with fluency in web and digital technologies.
