Job Summary

The Senior Sales Associate is a key role within Hermès, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. As a Senior Sales Ambassador, you will be the face of the brand, embodying the values of Hermès and inspiring colleagues to do the same.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Hermès products, including their history, craftsmanship, and features.
  • Provide personalized and memorable customer experiences, leveraging storytelling and product knowledge to build strong relationships.
  • Strive to develop sales beyond individual product categories, ensuring a seamless omnichannel experience for clients.
  • Advise and support customers on all product categories, identifying opportunities to satisfy their needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Develop and maintain a relevant customer portfolio, establishing long-term relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Build a solid product knowledge, staying up-to-date on novelties, prices, and stock availability.
  • Lead complex sales and client requests, managing complaints and ensuring a positive customer journey.
  • Contribute to business development through the proposal of commercial actions and initiatives.
  • Collect and update client data, ensuring compliance with privacy policies and company procedures.
  • Support operational tasks, adhering to company procedures and systems.
  • Act as a role model for other Sales Associates, coaching junior colleagues and sharing best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus on fashion or linguistics.
  • Fluency in Italian and English, with a third language considered an asset.
  • Professional background in direct sales to clients, preferably in a luxury goods boutique, with international experience a plus.
  • Proficient in Excel and IT tools.
  • Excellent leadership attitude and ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Professionalism, enthusiasm, dynamism, ease of integration, and teamwork are essential.
