Role Overview

As a Cloud Security Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in safeguarding our cloud services, ensuring robust security measures from design to implementation. You'll work closely with our engineering teams to develop secure solutions aligned with business objectives, emphasizing real-world security and automation.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance and maintain Cloud Security solutions, ensuring effective security measures for cloud monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and incident detection.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop secure solutions, aligning with business objectives and ensuring comprehensive security measures.
  • Continuously monitor cloud infrastructure, promptly respond to security incidents, and mitigate potential threats to maintain high security standards.
  • Implement DevSecOps methodologies, automating security measures and embedding security early in the development lifecycle for enhanced protection.
  • Ensure compliance and policy adherence, maintaining compliant cloud infrastructures, upholding regulatory requirements, and enforcing company policies to mitigate risks effectively.
  • Review and recommend operational improvements, evaluating operational processes regularly and providing insights and recommendations for enhancing efficiencies and security measures.
  • Drive security innovation, leading initiatives to incorporate emerging technologies and methodologies to strengthen cloud security frameworks.
Your Ideal Profile
  • Relevant experience with Cloud Service Providers, with hands-on experience managing and securing cloud environments, particularly in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Understanding of Cloud Service architecture, specializing in implementing and maintaining robust security measures within cloud environments to ensure optimal protection.
  • SIEM implementation and management, proficient in implementing SIEM solutions in cloud infrastructure, integrating multiple cloud providers, and adept at identifying and mitigating security threats and misconfigurations.
  • Timely incident response, capable of promptly detecting and responding to security incidents, minimizing impact and ensuring swift resolution through effective communication and decisive action.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, skilled in breaking down complex security issues, enabling efficient problem resolution and proactive management of cloud security challenges.
  • Language proficiency, fluent in Italian and English.
