Job Title: Technical Project Engineering

RWE Renewables Italia S.r.l. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Engineering professional to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the engineering and technical aspects of onshore wind, solar PV, and hybrid projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers in delivering design engineering for our development and construction portfolio, considering optimization across the full project life cycle.
  • Prepare and/or review/align concept/basic engineering of BoP (geotechnical investigation, access, reticulation, grid connection, electrical infrastructure, etc.) partially in-house and partially with external engineering service providers.
  • Support the preparation of regulatory plans or administrative files such as environmental authorization/building permit for wind, solar PV, and hybrid projects with design input.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Italian Development, Construction, and Operations departments, as well as with the global Engineering Communities of Practice within RWE Renewables and RWE Technology International.
Requirements:
  • University degree in electrical, civil, mechanical, industrial engineering, or similar.
  • Several years of relevant working experience in project engineering disciplines in renewables.
  • Strong commercial judgment of complex technological and commercial correlations and ability to solve complex technical issues.
  • Strong understanding of both Italian Standards and International Standards associated with engineering.
  • Strong HSE commitment.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
  • Good communications skills. Italian and fluent in English (speaking and writing).
