About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Housekeeper to join our team at The Hoxton, Florence. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality in our 160 beautiful bedrooms and public spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional results and high standards of cleanliness and hospitality.
- Develop and implement effective housekeeping procedures and protocols to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Manage and control departmental costs and ensure all expenses are kept in line with budget guidelines.
- Work closely with other teams, including front office, maintenance, and F&B, to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
- Ensure all hotel standard operating procedures are trained and adhered to, and identify opportunities to improve and enhance processes and procedures.
- Pro-actively identify and address any issues or concerns related to housekeeping operations and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience at a similar level, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results and high standards of cleanliness and hospitality.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve exceptional results.
- Experience of Micros Fidelio Opera or a similar front desk operating system.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot any issues or concerns related to housekeeping operations and guest satisfaction.
- Passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
