We are seeking an Electronics Development Manager to join our growing Vishay team. This is a senior role with the opportunity to create real impact within the organization and build a promising career.

The successful candidate will manage the packaging development group, responsible for concepting, designing, releasing, and managing all power modules products. They will select and evaluate materials for package elements, design mechanical packages, simulate thermal, mechanical, and electromagnetic behavior using FEM software, address customer requests by producing product specifications, and measure mechanical performances of developed power modules.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Selecting and evaluating materials for package elements
  • Designing mechanical packages and related technological processes
  • Simulating thermal, mechanical, and electromagnetic behavior using FEM software
  • Addressing customer requests by producing product specifications
  • Measuring mechanical performances of developed power modules

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, 10+ years of work experience in a company of power electronics devices, knowledge of power semiconductor packaging, technological processes, key characteristics, and failure mechanisms. You will also need good coaching and mentoring skills, ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team, and think in a continuous improvement way.
