The Business Data Analyst at Galileo Global Education plays a crucial role in crafting, developing, and sustaining ongoing sales metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards that reflect essential business drivers. This position involves the creation and implementation of new KPIs and automated reporting solutions tailored to meet the organization's requirements, alongside preparing and presenting sales business reviews to senior leadership. The analyst will work closely with the Digital & Sales Director to facilitate the budgeting process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect business requirements and convert them into insightful dashboards and reports.
  • Analyze trends and behavioral patterns within customer data.
  • Proactively translate customer lifecycle data into valuable insights and actionable recommendations at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Report on critical performance metrics associated with Global Sales, CRM, and Advertising Marketing.
  • Coordinate the development of automated CRM reports, collaborating with various systems (e.g., Salesforce, PowerBI).
  • Assist the CRM department in maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
  • Research and propose new technical solutions, parameters, and methodologies to enhance lifecycle measurement and analytical processes.
  • Performance Monitoring: Evaluate the effectiveness of digital marketing initiatives across paid and organic channels, utilizing Salesforce Data to uncover trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, focusing on Conversion Rate metrics within customer journey pathways.
  • Oversee Information Center & Customer Care teams (global level), monitoring inbound/outbound activities and quality KPIs to generate ad hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supervise Student Desks teams (global level), tracking inbound activities and quality KPIs to provide ad hoc reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Examine Student Surveys (Student Voice and NPS) outcomes to identify improvement areas and best practices in budgeting, projections, and data analysis to inform management decisions.
  • Synthesize data from multiple sources (Salesforce, Twilio, Freshdesk, etc.) to formulate insightful and actionable plans.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Prepare regular sales and conversion reports.
  • Conduct forecasting analyses and reports.
  • Monitor and optimize activities of schools and local offices.
  • Assist in ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and quality through monitoring and auditing.
  • Collaborate closely with local business development teams to create tailored customer segmentation lists for multichannel marketing activities and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree in Economics, Business Management, Statistics, or Finance.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in similar roles.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a comfort in presenting results and analyses.
  • Expertise in data modeling techniques and data mining.
  • Proficient in reporting processes and automation, including front-end tools such as Power BI and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Extensive experience with Google Analytics Tools (preferably Google 360).
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • High level of autonomy and self-motivation.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage pressure effectively.
  • Language proficiency: Italian C2 and English B2/C1 (both written and spoken).
