Job Title: Process Safety and Contractors Management Lead

Location: Rieti

Objectives/Scope:

Support the management of EHS compliance requirements for the Rieti site. Ensure the safety requirements of construction sites and processes for the Rieti site.

Responsibilities:

Management of contractors entering the site with control of technical and professional requirements introduced by D.lgs. 81/2008 annex XVII and art. 26 and control of construction sites present in the site in title IV Dlgs.81. Control of documentation regarding contractors entering the site supporting the Site Managers in the execution of safe work. Provision of training and information on procedures to contractors and review of safety and coordination plans of construction sites present in the site. Preparation of safety analysis of new processes and plants (HaZOp analysis, Zurich Analysis etc..) and follow-up of actions defined with process project managers. Promote the EHS by Design program supporting the Engineering Department in its implementation. Project management of specific EHS improvement projects. Management of documentation and legislative compliance in the field of fire prevention and explosion risk for the site. Preparation and implementation of training plans in the field of safety and environment in compliance with legislative requirements and company needs, in particular with regard to fire prevention and explosion risks and ATEX classification of working environments. Provision of training on Environment, Health and Safety procedures valid in the Rieti plant. Management of the system for registering and reporting Near Miss and EHS events and SIF potential; management of the Beacon system for EHS incident management. Root cause investigation and analysis of events with identification of high-risk areas and most frequent root causes and identification of improvement plans. Update of SOPs of the Department in collaboration with colleagues on new legislative requirements or GOP. Conduct of Gemba and EHS inspections to verify that all safety measures are applied and functioning correctly, proposing any necessary improvement actions to be implemented defining the related CAPA (corrective and preventive actions) to be implemented in the site and within the construction sites present in the site. Management of safety devices for work at height and explosive control when required in maintenance activities of the site. Collaboration for the definition and planning of actions for the maintenance of certification according to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.

Requirements and Skills:
  • Experience in managing and controlling EHS aspects and topics; in particular, experience as RSPP is preferred.
  • Knowledge of EHS technical regulations and ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 19011 standards is necessary.
  • Experience in process safety (HazOp analysis and other risk analysis), fire prevention (knowledge of regulations) and ATEX regulations (classification of working environments and document on protection against explosions) is required.
  • Project Management.

TRAINING AND COMPETENCES:
  • Master's degree in "Technical and Scientific Disciplines", preferably Engineering.
  • Preferred RSPP certification module C.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
  • Excellent knowledge of the Office package.
  • Discreet knowledge of IT systems.
  • Discreet knowledge of written and spoken English.
