Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Critical Facilities Technician to join our team. As a Critical Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our data center infrastructure. This includes performing maintenance and repair tasks, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with our engineering team to implement improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on data center infrastructure, including electrical and mechanical systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with data center infrastructure, and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement improvements to data center infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Participate in training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies.
- Technical training in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in data center operations or a similar mission-critical environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including high-voltage distribution and building management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
