As a pioneer in the load handling equipment industry, Cargotec Oyj is seeking a talented Sales Representative to join our team of professionals.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing sales operations and coordinating with dealers within designated areas or segments in the Market Area.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Work with Manager, Sales & Service to achieve direct and indirect new equipment sales to assigned customers.
  • Pursue sales leads, visit existing and new customers, assess customer needs, and suggest appropriate products/services.
  • Negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority and conclude sales orders to meet sales targets.
  • Provide sales and value training to assigned dealers in the area while monitoring and reporting their activities.
  • Strengthen collaboration with the assigned network of bodybuilders to maximize sales leads.
  • Manage assigned customer relations, act as business manager towards assigned customers, and be the main point of contact.
  • Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
  • Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization.
  • Collaborate with technical support representatives to coordinate and channel technical support from Hiab functions towards assigned customers.
  • Provide commercial discounts in line with established guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Suitable educational background in commercial, mechanical engineering, production engineering, or administrative subjects (Bachelor/academic level).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and marketing in the industry and excellent understanding of load handling business and HIAB product knowledge.
  • Proven ability to drive and develop equipment business sales and profitability.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
  • Results and achievement-driven with a desire to create long-term relationships.
  • High integrity and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good technical skills and product knowledge.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
