Illumina is expanding access to genomic technology to realize health equity worldwide. We need a Product Care Sales Representative to join our team in Milan, Italy.



About the Role

As a Product Care Sales Representative, you will work in a fast-paced team responsible for the sales of service contract products. You will engage directly with customers to ensure we offer the right solution for their needs.



This role is based on-site in Milan, Italy, and requires fluency in English and Italian, with Spanish language skills highly desirable.



Responsibilities


  1. Manage the customer sales process for Italy and Spain-based accounts, using our CRM database to contact existing customers via phone and email.
  2. Meet sales targets and maintain accurate forecasting and lead, customer details in the CRM database.
  3. Engage with existing customers and qualified sales leads, guiding them to Illumina service products that best meet their needs.
  4. Collaborate with internal resources to address customer questions or objections, provide budgetary pricing, and close sales processes.
  5. Establish and maintain strong relationships with customer accounts, including product end-users, management, and purchasing contacts.
  6. Track and report on all activities to managers, with potential for occasional field visits to advance opportunities.


Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:




  • Fluency in English and Italian, with Spanish highly desirable.
  • Proven successful sales experience with a technical product line, although other sales experience will be considered.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on achieving team sales performance metrics.
  • Detail-oriented and able to focus in a fast-paced environment.
  • A BSc in a relevant scientific subject, although not essential.
