We are seeking a skilled High Voltage Business Development Manager to join our team at Hitachi Energy. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional to take on a challenging role and drive business growth in the high-voltage segment.

The RoleAs a High Voltage Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing business strategies and sales and marketing plans in partnership with local Marketing and Sales teams. You will also oversee market positioning, market share, order received, gross margin (best price), pricing, and monitor and expand market size worldwide in accordance with market strategy by Global Product Group.
Key Responsibilities:- Develops business strategies and sales and marketing plans in partnership with local Marketing and Sales teams.
- Responsible for market positioning, market share, order received, gross margin (best price), pricing.
- Monitors and expands market size worldwide in accordance with market strategy by Global Product Group.
- Serves as escalation point for questions and issues and collects customer feedback and input.
- Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of product offering, and provide solutions.
- Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Led the budgeting process for Sales & Marketing and assigns and follows up on targets per country.
- Overses the market intelligence process ensuring detailed market analyses of market drivers and trends, key competition, and emerging technologies.
- Ensures local sales teams are provided with world-class training and increases the sales competence.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in sales and customer relationship management. The ideal candidate should have:
- A proven sales and customer relationship management track record.
- 7+ years' experience in marketing and sales or business development roles.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and collaborative personality.
- Willingness to travel and work in a multicultural and diverse team.
- Business fluency in English.
- Additional language skills are a plus.
Hitachi Energy offers a competitive salary package, including benefits such as flexible work practices, health insurance according to Local Collective Bargain agreement, welfare of 390 euros (net) per year, ticket lunch (12 euros per day in office) in Milan and Genova, canteen in Monselice, Lodi, Santa Palomba, 5,29 euros (gross) per day when working from home, 20 days of vacations according to Local Collective Bargain agreement, and 13 days of paid leaves according to work calendar.
LocationThis role is based in Milan, Lombardy, Italy, with opportunities to travel and work in a multicultural and diverse team.
