Plant Maintenance Lead

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to lead the execution of our maintenance operations agreement. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth functioning of our client's paper mill.
This position offers a remarkable chance to influence the operational success of a facility while also contributing to the evolution of maintenance practices across the mill. Join a progressive initiative that prioritizes innovation and development within the operational framework.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Manager, you will play an essential role in Valmet's Maintenance Team and report directly to the General Maintenance Manager (GMM).
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Assisting the GMM in ensuring safe maintenance operations and site activities, adhering to local regulations and company policies. Collaborating with the GMM to formulate a comprehensive maintenance strategy, including budget planning and financial oversight. Working closely with the customer's management and relevant teams to develop and execute action plans aimed at meeting or exceeding performance targets. Overseeing daily maintenance tasks and shutdown operations, providing necessary guidance and support to the team during routine and emergency situations. Facilitating troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and effective problem resolution. Aiding planners in the scheduling and modification of preventive maintenance activities. Supporting the team during outages, ensuring effective cost management and completion of work orders. Addressing personnel matters. Enhancing team capabilities and efficiency through training and mentorship.Qualifications:
A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant discipline. A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance operations within the pulp, paper, or tissue sectors. Proficiency in both mechanical and automation systems. Experience in managing change is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills. Expertise in team training and development. Essential financial, networking, and communication abilities. Familiarity with office systems and IT tools. Understanding of planning and scheduling fundamentals. Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.What We Provide:
