The Opportunity Development Representative plays a vital part in our company's outbound prospecting efforts, identifying and cultivating new customer relationships across the United States.
This role requires a strong understanding of general business processes, industry-specific knowledge, and technical skills, along with excellent salesmanship and communication abilities.
The ideal candidate will be able to manage introductory meetings, present case studies, and support software demos, while maintaining a keen focus on opportunity identification and growth.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the front end of the sales funnel, initiating prospective client cold calls and outbound emails, and documenting progress and results in our internal tracking system.
- Perform research on potential clients, capturing contact information, and identifying best contacts within an organization.
- Develop and maintain product, platform, and industry knowledge to effectively communicate the custom nature of 4C features and benefits to prospective customers.
- Forge connections with customers over the phone and through email, while building and sustaining trusting relationships.
- Support the development of marketing campaigns, content marketing, and drive event or workshop attendance as required.
We are seeking an entry-to-mid-level sales and marketing professional with at least 1 year of experience, or proven class/project work. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and listening skills, advanced PC skills, and a professional image.
A passion for driving the successful growth of the organization is a must, along with a proven track record in customer service and support, or marketing experience. Construction or manufacturing industry sales experience is a plus.
