Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Student Assistant to join our team in the Simulation and Learning Resource Center (SLRC) at Villanova University. As a Student Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting with activities in the SLRC and providing practice with peers for clinical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with activities in the Simulation and Learning Resource Center (SLRC)
  • Provide practice with peers for clinical skills
  • Support the development and implementation of simulation-based learning experiences
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure a high-quality learning environment
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Rising juniors preferred, seniors accepted
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift/move full body sized mannequins in excess of 25 lbs, medical equipment, beds, tables, carts, audiovisual equipment
  • Manual dexterity to manipulate equipment and standing for periods of time
Working Conditions

The Student Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively is essential.

Compensation

The Student Assistant will be compensated at a rate of $10.00 per hour.
