Facilities Maintenance Technician

Able Facility Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and working collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals.
Responsibilities- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Ensure all facilities are thoroughly cleaned and maintained, including sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming and cleaning surfaces, and cleaning and disinfecting sinks, countertops, floors, toilets, mirrors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, and other equipment.
- Supply Management: Replenish supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and kitchen areas, and ensure that all necessary cleaning products and equipment are available.
- Trash and Recycling: Regularly check and replace trash receptacles, empty waste baskets into disposal areas, and ensure that all areas are kept clean and free of debris.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate and sanitize equipment in a safe and proper manner, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
- Security and Safety: Monitor building security and safety by locking doors after operating hours, ensuring that electrical appliances are turned off, and reporting any potential repairs or issues.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals, and provide exceptional customer service to our clients.
- Availability: Available to work during evening hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively communicate with our team and clients.
- Physical Abilities: Be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds, regularly bend, lift, stretch, and reach both below the waist and above the head, and work in tight spaces.
- Reliability: Be reliable, trustworthy, and able to work with minimal supervision.
This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
