Position Overview and Responsibilities

The Technical Business Management Support Specialist will collaborate with the business management team to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction, aligning with the strategic goals of Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the technical business management team by creating presentations, organizing meetings, guiding clients, managing change controls, preparing quotations, and executing various support tasks as needed.
  • Provide assistance with administrative functions.
  • Contribute to achieving revenue objectives and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations in designated tasks; aid in identifying optimal solutions for clients.

Compliance and Safety Standards:

Ensure that current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) are adhered to within the work environment; be knowledgeable about emergency protocols and safe working procedures. Maintain alignment with all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) regulations and promote safe practices in the workplace.

Internal and External Relations:

Interact with all internal departments and maintain relationships with current clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Background:

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Finance, or Business is required.

Technical Proficiency:

A strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) is essential.

Professional Experience:

Ideally, candidates should have 6 months to 1 year of experience in project management, account management, sales, or marketing with responsibilities involving client interaction.

Language Proficiency:

Proficient in both Italian and English.

Personal Attributes:

Possess strong analytical skills and a business-oriented mindset.

Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and with clients.

Exhibit teamwork capabilities while also being able to work independently with a proactive approach.
