Role & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Engineering Leader in Italy, the Junior Process Engineer will focus on enhancing the efficiency of our manufacturing and industrial processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing current processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Implementing solutions to boost operational performance.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate workflows and address bottlenecks.
  • Applying lean manufacturing principles and conducting process audits.
  • Defining and overseeing electrochemical and control processes for optimal electrolyzer performance.

Daily Tasks Include:

  • Developing Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), and material balances.
  • Creating essential process documentation and optimizing processes.
  • Selecting and sizing plant equipment.
  • Assisting Project Managers and Product Engineers during customer alignment phases.
  • Overseeing plant start-up procedures and commissioning.
  • Preparing operational manuals and start-up protocols.
  • Managing process data during bidding phases.
  • Depending on experience, leading project teams as a Project Specialist Leader.

Candidate Profile

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical Engineering.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Background in hydrogen generation is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of French is beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent teamwork capabilities with diverse skill sets.
