Our products cater to independent producers as well as large food manufacturers. We produce chocolate, decorations, creams, inclusions, pastry mixes, gelato ingredients, and other bakery/pastry essentials.

About the Role
We are seeking a Sales Manager to implement our commercial strategy on the assigned territory/area and for the SMEs and Distribution channels, reporting to the Head of Sales. The role involves managing the relationship with customers, coordinating the sales network, and controlling the area to ensure proximity to customers and market intelligence.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Implement the commercial strategy in the assigned area of competence
  2. Manage the relationship and collaboration with customers effectively and in line with company objectives
  3. Collaborate with other sales managers to ensure balance between areas
  4. Develop and implement customer and area plans
  5. Identify drivers to manage the growth of the market
  6. Study, propose, and implement activities aimed at developing turnover through the distribution of products
  7. Increase average turnover per customer in terms of sales and product mix, following received guidelines
  8. Support the development of new business in the assigned area of competence
  9. Monitor and analyze competitors and share information with the sales team following received instructions
  10. Manage sales forecasts related to the portfolio
  11. Manage periodic reporting and on-site meetings

Requirements
Education: A degree in economics or equivalent experience. Appreciated: technical training in the food sector. Professional skills: excellent communication skills, capability to score new business and develop old ones, ability to analyze the market and understand customer needs, ability to plan and achieve objectives, knowledge of negotiation techniques, products: general knowledge of bakery/pastry/ice-cream's products, preferable focus on chocolate and creams. Experience: 3+ years of experience in the specific role, in B2B companies, and in the sector of IRCA Group. Language skills: proficient English. Computer skills: MS Office (Excel and Power Point). Backgrounds: knowledge of bakery/chocolate/ice-cream/pastry semi-finished products & markets/players. Behavioural requirements: focused on results, problem-solving, high energy and positive attitude, proactive, entrepreneurship. Other: available to travel for more than 75% of the time, knowledge of the territory of competence and leading distributors.
