We are a leading and innovative company in the electric vehicle charging infrastructure space, aiming to make charging easier for everyone.

Our solution – the AMPECO EV Charging Platform is a business-critical SaaS platform that companies use to manage their electric vehicle charging infrastructure, processes, and energy use. It's already used by companies worldwide – from North and South America to Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia.

As a Strategic Business Development Director for Southern Europe, you will play a key role in defining and executing our short-, mid-, and long-term business development strategies in Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

About the Role:
  • You will work closely with our Head of Business Development Europe to develop and execute our Business Development strategy in Southern Europe, with a focus on the Italian market.
  • You will perform outreach and consultative selling to create, develop, and close high-value opportunities in the region, targeting Charge Point Operators.
  • You will manage key accounts with selected strategic clients and identify sales partnerships with industry stakeholders, such as charger manufacturers, consulting companies, and local associations.
  • You will provide proactive market intelligence and explore new types of opportunities that could turn into high-value clients in the long run.
  • You will collaborate closely with our Marketing team for local campaigns and events, and attend regional events to represent Ampeco Ltd.
Your Profile:
  • You have previous experience in the e-mobility sector in Southern Europe, preferably in the Italian market.
  • You are a thought leader in e-mobility, bringing a local network of target accounts and partners.
  • You must be proactive, take ownership of the market, and have a hunter mentality.
  • You have 5+ years of solid experience in consultative selling, preferably in enterprise software.
  • You are an expert in building and maintaining relationships from scratch and presenting a personable and charismatic approach.
  • You are a native Italian speaker based in Italy, with additional language skills such as Spanish being a plus.
  • You have fluency in English and are willing to travel internationally and within Southern Europe.
  • You hold a BA/MA degree in Business or Engineering.
Estimated Salary: €80,000 - €120,000 per annum
