Role Overview
The position of Technology Transfer Project Manager is situated within the Business Management Department. This role is pivotal in overseeing the technology transfer process and scaling up new pharmaceutical products within our commercial manufacturing sectors.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities encompass three main areas: Technical Excellence, Client Experience, and Relationship Management Growth. The selected candidate will be tasked with:
- Ensuring that client specifications regarding project orders are accurately received and processed by internal teams.
- Leading interdisciplinary tech transfer groups, assigning and coordinating tasks for the introduction of new processes and projects.
- Monitoring project progress, maintaining continuous communication with clients, and identifying technical issues in collaboration with specialists.
- Contributing to the optimization of production processes, focusing on technical savings while adhering to cGMP and company protocols.
- Assisting the Site Technical Business Manager in identifying technical risks associated with new job orders and exploring new business opportunities during client interactions.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A Master’s degree in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Technologies or related scientific disciplines.
- A minimum of three years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment, with a solid understanding of pharmaceutical industry technicalities and CMO manufacturing processes.
- Preferred experience in sterile manufacturing.
- Proven project management capabilities and experience in leading projects.
- Strong client-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and guide multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Fluency in English and Italian, both spoken and written.
