We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Food Ingredients Sales Manager to join our team at Geiger Food Ingredients Recruitment & Consult in Italy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food technology and sales, with excellent communication and negotiation skills. They will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies for a selection of food ingredients in the Italian market.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Job:

  • Analyze market trends and product ranges to identify new business opportunities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for assigned product groups in Italy
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH SUPPLIERS AND CUSTOMERS
  • CONDUCT LAB TRIALS AND SMALL-SCALE TRIALS WITH CUSTOMERS
  • Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with category managers and country manager to align sales strategies

Requirements:

  • Degree in Food Technology or related field
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of Italian and English languages (fluent in spoken and written)
  • Valid driving license
  • High willingness to travel
