Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager for Food Ingredients Distribution to join our international team at Geiger Food Ingredients Recruitment & Consult. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the business development of a selection of food ingredients in different branches of the food industry in Italy.

Main Responsibilities
• Analysis of the market and the product range of our suppliers to find new potentials
• Responsible for making market strategy, purchasing, and selling of signed Productgroups in Slovenia
• Building a close relationship with our suppliers and customers
• Visits of customers, analysis of their needs, creation of value propositions
• Participation in production trials at the customer/implementation of small-scale trials in the application kitchen
• Project management in close cooperation with the responsible Customer Service Manager
• Alignment of the sales strategy for the product groups of the suppliers with the help of the Category Managers and the Country Manager

Requirements
• Degree in Food Technology
• Ability to solve technological problems and pioneer for food product development
• Exceptionally good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• High willingness to travel, very organized, reliable, positive thinking
• Very good knowledge of Slovenian and English (fluent in spoken and written)
• Must have a valid driving license
