Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to oversee the erection and commissioning of steel processing plants worldwide. This role will involve supervision of mechanical installation, equipment alignment, and coordination with engineering departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the installation of mechanical components and equipment
  • Verify proper alignment and movement of equipment
  • Ensure that contractors adhere to project timelines, design specifications, and technical requirements
  • Manage planning and resource allocation for contractors
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues during execution
  • Review and sign off on erection completion documents
  • Oversee vendor and contractor relationships
  • Attend customer meetings to report progress
  • Coordinate with headquarters and sub-contractors
  • Prepare daily reports on site activities and provide technical assistance during trials and commissioning phases
Requirements:
  • Leadership experience in coordinating and managing mechanical erection activities in industrial plants
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in constructing steel processing plants
  • Prior experience in site erection and commissioning management preferred
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and demonstrate flexibility
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Strong organizational skills, sense of responsibility, and ability to work under pressure
  • Open-minded approach to new ideas and innovations
Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately €80,000 - €110,000, depending on qualifications and location. The package includes a comprehensive benefits program, opportunities for professional growth, and a dynamic work environment.
