About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Member Service Representative to join our team in Rome. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, resolving issues, and promoting our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to members, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Promote our products and services to members, identifying their financial needs and making referrals where necessary.
  • Process new accounts and loan applications, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Assist members with account and loan issues, investigating and resolving problems in a fair and efficient manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations, products, and procedures, applying this knowledge to provide expert advice to members.
  • Verify member eligibility, establish new memberships, and open new accounts.
  • Respond to member telephone inquiries and prepare responses to member correspondence.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all member account information.
  • Assist with various functions to support the office, including clerical, reception, and telephone duties.
  • Participate in Credit Union training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • 2 years of retail banking experience.
  • Knowledge of regulations pertaining to accounts, services, confidentiality, and lending.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in Italian and English.
