Job Summary:

The Rome Member Service Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, resolving issues, and promoting our products and services. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional service to members, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Promote our products and services to members, identifying their financial needs and making referrals where necessary.
  • Process new accounts and loan applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Investigate and resolve member account and loan issues, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
  • Stay up-to-date on changing regulations, products, and procedures, applying this knowledge to provide expert advice to members.
  • Verify member eligibility, establish new memberships, and open new accounts.
  • Respond to member telephone inquiries and requests, preparing responses to member correspondence.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all member account information.
  • Assist with various functions to support the office, including clerical, reception, and telephone duties.
  • Participate in Credit Union training programs, enhancing skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of retail banking experience.
  • Knowledge of regulations pertaining to accounts, services, confidentiality, and lending, or ability and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in Italian and English.
