Sales Area Manager Job Description

Envolve Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Sales Area Manager to join our team. As a Sales Area Manager, you will be responsible for achieving commercial objectives for the assigned area, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the DACH region to support company growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify market and customer requirements, develop and execute strategies and tactics for growth of orders and profitability in the agreed sales territory.
  • Establish new and maintain existing relationships with customers.
  • Regular customer visits and reporting.
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance, defining and providing technical-commercial solutions to customers.
  • Drive creative solutions to minimize the importance of price and maximize the differentiated values of product.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor behaviors.
  • Monitor customer payments behavior in collaboration with the credit department, adjusting the credit limit according to the situation and in line with the Company procedure.
  • Participate in the annual budget setting process and comment on relative prospects.
  • Report regularly on market trends, competition strategies, and customer behaviors that may affect business strategies and on quotation and project potential.

Requirements:

  • Technical education or bachelor's engineering degree.
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and oral.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in Sales and Business Development B2B in companies operating in businesses focused on selling machines for industrial installations.
  • Experience in the field of heat-transfer or air heat exchangers would be a plus.
  • Availability to travel for 30% to 50% of working time.
