About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at oilandgas. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing ABB Low Voltage Drives and Multidrives Systems in Pulp & Paper plants.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Installation and Commissioning: Perform installation and commissioning of ABB Low Voltage Drives and Multidrives Systems, ensuring that all systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  2. Field Service and Troubleshooting: Identify technical problems and perform troubleshooting activities to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Maintenance and Repair: Execute corrective and preventive maintenance activities to ensure that all equipment is in good working condition.
  4. On-Call Service: Provide on-call service and technical site interventions on a 24/7 basis to ensure that all customer needs are met.
  5. Customer Satisfaction: Contribute to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service works according to customer order and expectation.
  6. Business Development: Identify new service business opportunities for oilandgas in its installed base and cooperate with the sales team to develop new business.
  7. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare all necessary documents and customer reports in a timely manner.
  8. Installed Base Management: Actively operate to populate, clean, and update the internal repository of installed base data.
  9. Safety and Environmental Responsibilities: Apply safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma in a technical area, preferably Industrial Automation engineering degree.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in field service activities.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge and experience on Low Voltage Drives, ability to proactively manage the relationship with the customer, and ability to work with personal autonomy and teamwork.
  • Language: Native Italian and technical written and spoken English.
  • Software Skills: Suitable skills with standard Office PC software tools, e.g., Microsoft Office.
