Sales Support Specialist

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be part of a national sales team focused on developing and supporting Altra Running accounts. Your remit will be to represent the brand in-market, drive account performance, and increase sales turnover through staff training and development of Altra retail partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Arrange comprehensive travel plans to provide regular and frequent store coverage of all account doors.
* Ensure accurate and timely administration completion for all accounts.
* Maximize sales through product and brand knowledge, allied with excellent customer service.
* Conduct staff training sessions for retail partners, ensuring they are fully conversant with Altra product features and benefits.
* Develop the staff training program and become the internal product expert, raising standards and levels of expertise throughout the organization.
* Provide feedback to sales teams on sell-through data, stock holding information, display potential, competitor activity, and other relevant information.
* Build excellent in-store relationships to ensure product display and retail presentation meet high standards.
* Provide quality feedback to sales managers and reps on customer and market data to aid account management and sales presentations.
* Support customer sales and marketing activities, including staffing events and providing operational support.
* Act as a consistent contact for the account base and provide ad-hoc operational requests.
Ambassadors Impact
* Lead T-RED ambassadors in country to spread the word on Altra in local communities, providing training and feedback on their performance.
Internal Support
* Manage and coordinate the setup, organization, and smooth running of the showroom for each selling season.
* Provide sales support for smaller direct territory sales accounts and lead direct selling showroom days for these B2B accounts.
* Offer main support for sales agents and effectively manage the specified geographical region for B2B accounts, achieving key financial targets.
Requirements
* Retail experience is essential, preferably from within the running and outdoor sector.
* Leadership skills to motivate and influence store teams.
* Ability to be on the road regularly, as this position requires frequent travel.
* Enthusiasm for actively participating in the outdoor lifestyle.
* Good planning and organizational skills.
* Self-motivated, with initiative.
* Strong communication skills, with an outgoing, engaging, and persuasive style.
* Ability to build good relationships.
