Electrical Technician

**Job Summary**
Matchatalent is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician with expertise in fabrication, welding, and non-destructive testing (NDT) to join our Mechanical Services Shops Department (MSSD) in Abqaiq. As a key member of our team, you will provide hands-on experience, work direction, technical guidance, and supervision for work crews involved in the fabrication, welding, and repair of plant pressure vessels, piping, and auxiliary equipment.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide work direction for a crew of 6-10 craftsmen, ensuring quality control and productivity.
- Review work requests to plan assignments and determine material and tool requirements.
- Request materials, tools, and equipment through the SAMS system or Maintenance Planner.
- Perform administrative duties as Group Head, including report writing and record-keeping of welding work.
- Offer technical advice to lower craftsmen, operations, and maintenance for planning T&Is or large fabrication projects.
- Ensure adherence to safe welding procedures and company standards.
- Conduct on-the-job training and mentoring for lower qualified craftsmen, maintaining records of training accomplishments.
- Troubleshoot and analyze complex projects to determine repair requirements, nature of repair, and whether repairs will be conducted in the shop or field.
**Requirements:**
- Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in fabrication, welding, and NDT fields.
- Experience serving as the technical authority concerning all fabrication, vessel maintenance, equipment installation and repair, and/or testing, inspection, and welding.
