Finance and Administration Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Administration team as a Stage Finance/Administration. This role will provide support to the team with general administrative tasks, maintain the integrity of the general ledger, and participate in selected General Ledger accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the team with general administrative tasks as required.
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, including the preparation, verification, and input of journal entries.
- Participate in selected General Ledger accounting activities to enable local and group accounting and statutory financial requirements to be met.
- Manage billing Core and No Core invoice release.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Support in the management (creation, periodic depreciation and disposal) of fixed assets process.
- Support timely effective books closing ensuring respect of Group closing calendar.
- Support accounting managers and team members on arising accounting issues or anomalies promptly highlighting them.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing, and annual financial statement audit.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data.
- Support the team with project management and process improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics studying economics or comparable.
- Basic understanding of financial statements and financial analysis.
- IT skills: MS Office in particular Excel, experience with accounting software such as SAP (FI, SD) is considered a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Attitude for team-working and capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in English.
- Other European languages, for example German, French, and Spanish, are highly appreciated.
- Eagerness to learn quickly and take initiative.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize work to meet deadlines.
