Job Title: Senior Radio Frequency Subsystem Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Radio Frequency Subsystem Designer to join our team at Thales Alenia Space. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing radio frequency subsystems for our space missions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop radio frequency subsystems for space missions, including telemetry tracking and command, planetary communications, and interplanetary data relay systems.
  • Specify and design electrical and communication interfaces between communications subsystems and data handling subsystems.
  • Develop protocols for ground communication and define link budgets and data volumes.
  • Procure communications subsystems and their units following subcontractor technical activities.
  • Support communications subsystem integration and testing with system avionics.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Electronic Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience or internship in RF subsystems design or testing at subsystem or unit level.
  • Technical knowledge in analysis and modeling tools, ECSS e CCSDS standards, and space qualified components.
  • Proficient knowledge of English and ability to work with people from different cultures.
