Project Leader

At Italdesign, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Leader to join our team. As a Project Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation;
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives;
  • Coordinate with customers and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met;
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed;
  • Monitor and report on project progress, and make adjustments as necessary;
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve project delivery.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Automotive E/E domain;
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards;
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks;
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team;
  • Fluent knowledge of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders;
  • Knowledge of Italian and basic German would be an asset.
Preferred Requirements
  • Previous experience with Requirements management tools, Atlassian suite (specifically Jira), MS Project or equivalent tool;
  • Knowledge of conflict management and negotiation techniques;
  • Ability to think innovatively and outside the box;
  • Strong time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Education and Language Skills

Masters degree in Engineering (Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Automation, Electrics, Human-Computer and Human-machine Interaction or related fields);

Fluent knowledge of written and spoken English (at least B2 level); knowledge of Italian and basic German would be appreciated (with willingness to improve).
