Senior Sales Manager for Digital Grid Transformation

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Sales and Marketing Leader to join our Grid Technologies Business Unit at Siemens Energy. As a Senior Sales Manager for Digital Grid Transformation, you will be responsible for driving the sales and marketing of our Digital Grid portfolio within the Grid Technology sales area.
About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will be accountable for executing our company's strategy, developing strategic plans for regional opportunity pipeline generation, budget planning, and revenue growth. You will serve as a liaison between our Grid Technology sales team and the Digital Grid organization, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with potential partners, including power transmission companies, electric distribution companies, renewable energy developers, and EPCs to identify strategic areas for business growth.
- Drive marketing activities, such as trade shows, conferences, and promotions, to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback and win/loss data to inform sales strategies and improve customer satisfaction.
- Leverage salesforce and other reporting tools to track sales funnel development and ensure transparency.
- Prioritize pipeline management and develop a vertical/market approach to drive revenue growth.
- Participate in monthly business reviews with regional management and the Digital Grid organization to discuss sales performance and strategy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the power transmission and distribution industry, preferably with expertise in Protection and Control domain.
- Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience in promoting and selling high and medium voltage solutions and related digital offerings.
- Strong knowledge of high and medium voltage applications, power transmission and distribution systems, power electronics, renewable generation, power system planning and development, and power systems modeling.
- Understanding of the Grid Automation industry, including market trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Excellent customer relationship management and partnership management skills, with a strong network of clients in Utilities, Industries, and Renewable Energy fields.
- Sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to prioritize issues, be creative, and adjust tempo according to circumstances.
- Team working and result-oriented mindset, with excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Italian languages.
